Using your audiences in ChatGPT Ads
Sync a ContactLevel audience to ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI) and use it for targeting, just like on other platforms. Only the people in that synced custom audience see your ChatGPT ads.
Connect ChatGPT Ads
Go to Integrations → Connections.
Open ChatGpt Audiences (row menu → View details).
Click the connect button, log into your OpenAI ads account and approve access.
Select the ad account ContactLevel should sync audiences to.
The status changes to Healthy once the connection works.
Sync your audience
Open your audience and click Syncs.
Click Run next to ChatGPT Ads.
The status changes to Synced. The Est. match rate updates after the platform processes the audience. On the Audiences page, this platform's column is labelled OpenAI.
Use the audience in a campaign
In ChatGPT Ads, select the custom audience with the same name as your ContactLevel audience in your campaign's audience targeting. Check the platform's own minimum size for custom audiences before you expect it to serve.
When you add contacts in ContactLevel, open Syncs and click Run again to update the audience.
Track visits
Add your audience's cl_audience parameter to the ad's landing page URL to see which audience members visit your site. See Finding your audience's UTM parameter.
